The double-column automatic band saw is designed to perform 0° cuts on structural, stainless, and alloy steels, both solid and profiled, with cutting capacity up to 350 x 350 mm.
It is equipped with a hydraulic power unit dedicated to moving the blade-carrying bow and to opening/closing the cutting and feeding vises. The balanced operating head eliminates its own weight, ensuring smoothness and cutting precision.
The machine features continuous blade speed variation in a range from 15 to 115 m/min, controlled by a vector inverter, to optimally adapt to different materials and machining conditions.
The automatic feeding system, with a useful stroke of 600 mm repeatable, allows multiple cuts at programmed lengths. It is driven by a stepper motor, with a recirculating ball screw mounted on preloaded opposed tapered bearings, to ensure maximum precision and durability over time.
The maximum scrap of bar that can no longer be fed is 25 mm plus the cutting length.
The saw is also equipped with a blade deviation control device, which ensures maximum accuracy and cutting quality even during extended operations.
